“Deep, dark ruby-red, not quite opaque. Dense, dark fruit is overlaid by intense ceadry oak & has earthy touches. Intense dark fruit on the palate has a nice freshness. The wine is medium to full bodied and has brooding black fruit that sits behind a fine cedary structure. Acid and alcohol are both nicely in balance. Oak on the finish is brilliantly handled, being fine but not smothering the fruit. The finish is long & fine, but will need some time to open.”
