Expert tasting note: “Medium to deep, dark ruby-red. There is lifted red fruit, but the nose is quite closed, showing hints of toasty oak. The palate has a fair concentration of lovely fresh red fruit. There wine is full-bodied with good firm structure that does not close the fruit up significantly. Alcohol adds warmth to the finish.
